The Odom Genealogy Library is home to a collection of 3 x 5 cards that were completed by a group of citizens called the “Cemetery Buddies.” The project, a joint effort of the Morning Glory Garden Club, The Town Committee of the National Society of Colonial Dames, and the City of Moultrie, aimed to beautify and renovate the cemetery, as well as to collect information from all of the marked graves found there. Notes of Interest as of 2006

• There are 6,422 marked graves in the cemetery.
• Six hundred forty-two individuals or 10% died in the same month as their birth.
• One hundred thirty individuals died on their birth date.
