Baby Bees Storytime for ages 0-3

Books, songs, rhymes, and more using the Basics for babies and toddlers ages 0-3 years. The summer session will meet Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. at the Moultrie Library from June 7 through July 19. Fall session will begin mid-August 2023.

Preschool Sing Talk and Read for Success (STARS)

Preschool STARS will not meet over the summer; the fall session will start mid-August 2023. Stories, songs, activities, and more for preschoolers ages 3 and older. Fridays at 10:30 a.m. at the Moultrie Library.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.

Beanstack Reading Challenges for Kids

Reading challenges for all ages, including 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, Read Woke Diversity Reading Challenge, and the Basics challenges for infants and toddlers.

Summer Reading Program for Kids

Each year MCCLS hosts a summer reading program. The main purpose of the summer reading program is to minimize summer learning loss by encouraging kids to keep reading over the summer. We also welcome families to the library with free fun and educational programming throughout the summer months.
